Pennsylvanians cannot trust Garrity to stand up for their freedoms as governor
PENNSYLVANIA – With the Trump administration stripping abortion rights across the country, it has never been more important to have a fighter like Josh Shapiro in the Governor’s Office who we can trust to stand up for Pennsylvanians’ fundamental freedoms like the right to choose.
Pennsylvanians can’t trust Stacy Garrity to protect their reproductive rights – she’s spent her political career championing anti-abortion policies. Garrity has declared that Pennsylvania needs a pro-life Governor.
She openly celebrated the overturning of Roe v. Wade and, in the aftermath, called anti-abortion activists to “make a difference” on the state level. Garrity even made her anti-choice stance a cornerstone of her prior campaign, selling “Defund Planned Parenthood” merchandise.
While Governor Shapiro is standing up to the Trump administration’s attacks on reproductive rights, joining legal action to stop the Trump Administration from defunding Planned Parenthood and protecting access to medical abortion, Garrity has made it clear that she would do no such thing.
Pennsylvanians need a Governor who will fight for our freedoms, and Garrity has made it clear that she will do no such thing.
