Today, on behalf of over 1,900 Pennsylvanians, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party dropped off petitions at Scott Wagner’s office telling him why an Obamacare repeal would be disastrous for the people of Pennsylvania. If Scott Wagner is going to run a statewide race, he’s going to have to answer to the millions of Pennsylvanians who will suffer if Obamacare is repealed.
“Why does Scott Wagner support stripping coverage from people with pre-existing conditions and young Pennsylvanians who are currently able to stay on their parents’ health insurance until they are 26 years old,” said Beth Melena, Director of Communications for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. “Why does Scott Wagner want prescription drug prices for seniors to skyrocket and the 700,000 Pennsylvanians who have gained access to healthcare under Medicaid Expansion to go without coverage? Does Scott Wagner want to see 125,000 Pennsylvanians suffering from a substance use disorder have their treatment ripped out from underneath them? These are all questions that Scott Wagner needs to answer if he wants to represent the people of Pennsylvania. ”
