PENNSYLVANIA — Even after Arizona’s fraudit turned out to be a total dud, PA Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman is determined to keep wasting Pennsylvanians’ time and money with a disgraceful fraudit of his own. As he continues his foolish push to come after the social security and driver’s license numbers of 9 million Pennsylvanians, Corman is being slammed from all corners of the commonwealth and the nation — including from Republican Commissioner Al Schmidt of Philadelphia, who penned an op-ed attacking Harrisburg Republicans’ “deranged logic.”
Meanwhile, rank and file Republicans who have remained silent on the fraudit are starting to feel the heat. Last night, a grassroots protest around the fraudit occurred at Delaware County Rep. Craig Williams’ office in Chadds-Ford as Democratic groups across the commonwealth prepare to hold vulnerable Republicans accountable for their silence and refusal to protect their constituents’ privacy.

Philadelphia Inquirer: ‘Deranged logic’ of Pa. Senate’s election ‘audit’ puts 9 million voters in jeopardy
“This has become perfectly circular — they spread lies about Pennsylvania’s 2020 election to justify an election ‘investigation’ and simultaneously claim an ‘investigation’ is justified because voters believe their lies. In its search for imaginary fraud, the Senate has subpoenaed sensitive voter information, such as driver’s license numbers and partial Social Security numbers, and it is putting nine million Pennsylvanian voters at risk of identity theft if this information is provided to an untrustworthy third party — all in exchange for dominating a few news cycles and degrading the foundation of our democracy.”
The Morning Call: Pennsylvania’s GOP election ‘fraudit’: It’s all about voter intimidation
“Voters are fearful. And they should be. If the information isn’t adequately protected during the audit, they could become victims of fraud — maybe even changes to their voter registrations.”
CNN: Why the Trumpist election fraud conspiracy just won’t die
“Trump lost the election — both nationally and in Arizona. And yet, Trump and the forces aligned with him are already rewriting the history of their very own sham audit as they careen toward their next state of opportunity to fuel an increasingly wild conspiracy theory.”
“Arizona’s highly controversial election audit wrapped up Friday as the GOP-backed company conducting it announced the investigation had actually increased President Joe Biden’s margin of victory—but Republicans in multiple other states are already underway on other probes that could sow new doubts in the presidential vote count.”
