Scott Wagner has been flying very low under the radar ever since he assaulted a staffer and stole a camera. Since the incident, he has proceeded to lie about the events throughout the week and then refused to talk to the press at an event or even allow them in the room during his speech.
So will Wagner show up at his scheduled event in Altoona today at Bavarian Hall, 112 S. 13th Street, Altoona at 5:30 PM?
“Will Scott Wagner show up to his scheduled event or will he continue to hide after lying about his assault?” said Beth Melena, communications director for Pennsylvania Democratic Party. “Not only did Scott Wagner assault a staffer and steal his camera, but he also lied about the incident and then refused to talk to the press about it. Someone who is as easily rattled and camera-shy as Scott Wagner has no business running for governor.”
UPDATE: Unsurprisingly, cowardly Scott Wagner cancelled this public appearance amid public backlash after attacking a tracker and stealing his camera.
“Scott Wagner is a coward who refuses to face the public after assaulting a tracker and stealing his camera,” said Beth Melena, communications director for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. “If Scott Wagner can’t face the consequences of his actions, he has absolutely no business running the state of Pennsylvania. He needs to come out of hiding and stop lying to the people of Pennsylvania.”
