Donald Trump rolls into next week’s Pennsylvania Republican primary after a decisive win last night in New York and polls showing him leading the Keystone State. Trump may also get the blessing of Pat Toomey, who said yesterday that he’s still considering voting for Trump in next Tuesday’s election:
Leaving the door open to supporting Trump may surprise some, but Toomey is a creature of Wall Street and closely connected to New York billionaires. He has long defended The Donald’s xenophobic, nasty campaigning. And Toomey was one a few vulnerable Republicans to say he plans on attending the GOP convention in July — no matter the nominee.
Considering the likelihood of a Trump nomination and Pennsylvania’s important role in that process, voters deserve to know: Is Pat Toomey voting for Donald Trump?
