GOP Governors Slam Trumpcare While Mango And Wagner Continue To Hide Their Support

One thing was clear coming out of the National Governor’s Association meeting this weekend – that Trumpcare would be a complete disaster for states and it is not just Democrats who have come to this conclusion. Republican governors have also come out strongly against Trumpcare while Paul Mango and Scott Wagner are continuing to hide their support of this disastrous bill.

“Why are Paul Mango and Scott Wagner supporting Trumpcare’s devastating cuts that would raise health care costs for seniors and charge them an age tax, hinder our battle against the opioid and heroin epidemic, and strip health care options away from women and people with pre-existing conditions?” asked Pennsylvania Democratic Party communications director Beth Melena. “While Republican governors across the United States are slamming this disastrous bill, Paul Mango and Scott Wagner are continuing to hide their support. If Mango and Wagner want to be governor of Pennsylvania, they need to come clean about their support for a bill that would put the health of Pennsylvanians at risk.”
