ICYMI: LOCAL LEADERS GATHER IN PHILADELPHIA TO CALL OUT THE GOP PA-GOV CANDIDATES ATTACKS ON REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS

PENNSYLVANIA — On Friday, on the eve of the anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision that established a woman’s right to access an abortion, Pennsylvania leaders joined together to emphasize how high the stakes are for reproductive rights in 2022.

A woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions is hanging by a thread as the Supreme Court takes up Mississippi’s abortion ban, and state Rep. Mary Isaacson, Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania Advocates Executive Director Signe Espinoza, state Sen. Katie Muth, state Sen. Amanda Cappelletti, and Philadelphia Councilwoman Katherine Gilmore Richardson called out the leading GOP gubernatorial candidates and Harrisburg Republicans for their support of draconian abortion bans and attacks on reproductive rights.
