Interning for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for students to gain real-life experience in Democratic politics as part of a team working with PDP staff to elect Democrats across the state.
We’re looking we’re looking for a few special, hard-working students for our Harrisburg, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh offices for Fall 2016 and 2017 seasons. The focus will be on digital & creative teams, data, and political operations.
At a time when Republicans are launching assaults on Democratic priorities in state legislatures across the country, protecting Pennsylvania from extreme right-wing agendas could not be more urgent. From workers’ rights to women’s health to sustainable energy policy, the PDP is gearing up for a fight this fall, and we need you to fight with us.
Interning with the PDP is the perfect way for aspiring political operatives to stand up for our shared values while gaining skills that will create the groundwork for a career in Democratic politics.
We welcome applicants with a background in political science, social work, public policy, communications, computer science, graphic design, and other relevant fields.
We offer a flexible schedule and applicable credit for interns whenever possible.
