PENNSYLVANIA — Today, Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman showed once again how weak he is as he fully embraced far-right conspiracy theories and an Arizona-style fraudit of Pennsylvania’s 2020 election. Taxpayers will be on the hook for millions, the personal information of voters will likely be violated by far-right third party groups, and the ability of Pennsylvania counties to conduct future elections will be in jeopardy.
“Jake Corman — a weak-kneed disgrace to Pennsylvania — has once again led our commonwealth down a dangerous far-right conspiracy theory rabbit hole,” said Pennsylvania Democratic Party spokesman Brendan Welch. “Corman is a cowering fool who constantly buckles at the slightest poke from the extreme far-right conspiracy theorists who run his party. He failed our entire commonwealth today. Pennsylvania is worse off because of his failed leadership and he must be held accountable.”
For over a month, Corman has hinted that he supports a fraudit. He also led the charge to demand Congress overturn the 2020 election results, which helped fan the flames that led to the January 6th insurrection.
