PENNSYLVANIA — The Pennsylvania Democratic Party this week announced the award of bonus delegates to the 2020 Democratic National Convention and posted pledge forms for individuals to pledge to be a delegate both online and in hard copy.
Interested Democrats must submit a delegate pledge form to the state party, either online or in hard copy, by January 27th at 5 PM EST. The presidential candidates have the right of review over who may run as a delegate or alternate pledged to their candidacy. Individuals approved as delegates will be notified on January 29, 2020.
“As a proud Pennsylvania Democrat, I’m excited to announce the release of our delegate pledge form almost a month early. We believe our diversity makes us stronger, and by taking this step we’re making it clear that Pennsylvania will have a diverse and inclusive delegation representing our commonwealth in Milwaukee next July,” said Nancy Patton Mills, Chairwoman of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party.
