Pennsylvania Democratic Party Chairman Marcel L. Groen issued the following statement in response to Donald Trump’s rally in Hershey, Pennsylvania:
“Donald Trump ran on a promise of putting the American workers before corporate and special interests, but since being elected he has shown no signs of being the champion for everyday Americans that he said he would be. Trump is stacking his cabinet with billionaires who oppose raising the minimum wage, providing affordable health care, funding public education, regulating Wall Street, and support policies that will hurt the people of Pennsylvania. Donald Trump made a lot of promises to the people of this state, and the Pennsylvania Democratic Party will be here to hold him accountable.”
