Toomey On Trump Protests: ‘Outrageous’ & ‘Extremely Objectionable’

Pat Toomey is making good on his promise to support whomever becomes the Republican presidential nominee. When asked in a radio interview this morning for his reaction to the protests at Donald Trump rallies, Toomey sounded like a Trump campaign spokesman.

The protesters’ “behavior is outrageous,” Toomey said. Their conduct is “extremely objectionable.” After a passing reference to Trump “encouraging violence against the disrupters,” Toomey was back to blaming the people offended by Trump’s xenophobic, hateful language.

“There’s no question the left has decided they’re going to shut down [Trump’s] voice, and that’s completely out of bounds,” Toomey said in The Donald’s defense.

The radio host then inexplicably suggested that this episode might push more voters to support Trump. And, of course, Pat Toomey agreed. “It might very well, because people have the good sense to find it extremely offensive and objectionable when protesters try to shut down a peaceful rally,” Toomey said.

Take a listen.
