Donald Trump has doubled down on defending white supremacists, neo-nazis, and hate groups. Yet Trump supporters and republican gubernatorial candidates Scott Wagner and Paul Mango have refused to denounce the Trump’s abhorrent behavior following the violence, racism, and bigotry that occurred in Charlottesville.
“Will Paul Mango and Scott Wagner speak out against President Donald Trump’s disgusting racism and tell the President to condemn white supremacists, neo-nazis, and hate groups?” said Beth Melena, communications director for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party. “If Paul Mango and Scott Wagner won’t stand up to Trump’s racism, how will they stand up for the people of Pennsylvania? Paul Mango and Scott Wagner’s silence on this matter makes them absolutely unfit to serve as governor of our commonwealth.”
