Pat Toomey Soundly Rebuked For Trying To Feign Support From President Obama

In a last-ditch effort to court moderates who are less than impressed with his hyper partisan record and self-serving attempts to avoid telling voters whether he will vote for serial sexual assailant Donald Trump, Pat Toomey this week released an ad in which he tried to claim support from President Barack Obama.

Within hours, President Obama responded, soundly rebuking Toomey for his craven and hypocritical attempts to capitalize on the President’s ability to be civil.

Toomey does not share this trait.

As reported by the Associated Press, “Toomey has been a tough critic of Obama, and opposed practically all of Obama’s major policy initiatives, from health care to immigration. He routinely delivers a stump speech that labels Obama’s economic and foreign policies as complete failures.”

President Obama also hit Toomey for his bizarre and humiliating attempts to mislead Pennsylvanians regarding his refusal to denounce the orange bigot who spent five years promoting a racist myth that our first black president was not born in the United States.

Here are the scathing headlines Toomey earned for his latest and most shameless Hail Mary to save his seat:
