Pennsylvania Democratic Party names Data Director

HARRISBURG— The Pennsylvania Democratic Party has named Megan Winters as Data Director.

Ms. Winters will manage the PA Democrats’ extensive voter and volunteer universes and administer its statewide mailing apparatus. She will coordinate with and train campaigns, county parties, and affiliates on data transfer and storage in order to grow the Party’s overall data capacity.

Additionally, Winters will serve as a point of contact for elected officials, county parties, and campaigns, especially in the western half of the state. She will help build the State Party’s presence in the region.

“Megan will play an integral role in modernizing and executing our voter mobilization strategy,” said Party Chairman Marcel Groen. “She brings a wealth of organizing experience to the team, and I look forward to working with her.”

Prior to joining the PA Democrats, Winters was the Executive Director of the Allegheny County Democratic Committee, where she oversaw and coordinated party activities for over 2,000 committee members and affiliates.

She will continue her role as President of the Pennsylvania Young Democrats, which is the official youth wing of the Pennsylvania Democratic Party.

Ms. Winters has a B.A. in Political Science from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she currently resides.
