Pennsylvania Democratic Party Executive Director Sinceré Harris issued the following statement in response to Governor Mike Pence’s visit to Bensalem, Bucks County:
“The combination of Donald Trump and Mike Pence would spell disaster for the women of Pennsylvania. Between Pence’s support of defunding Planned Parenthood and Trump’s demeaning and degrading attitude towards women, the Republican ticket would roll back the progress we’ve made and jeopardize women’s health. Pennsylvanians have clearly taken notice and are rejecting the Trump-Pence ticket. Trump is unfit and unqualified to be president. And Pence is just as scary a choice for the women of our commonwealth.”
