PENNSYLVANIA – Representative Brian Sims released the following statement today ahead of Lara Trump and Richard Grenell’s “Trump Pride” event in Newtown Square:
“President Trump has been no friend to LGBTQ+ Pennsylvanians. He has continually opposed the Equality Act, appointed historically anti-LGBTQ+ judges to the federal bench like Judge Amy Coney Barrett who publicly opposed same sex marriage, and he’s continued to spout anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric that has fanned the flames of hate in Pennsylvania and around the country. We can’t afford four more years of this failed, dangerous leadership.”
